HOW ARE YOU HOLDING UP?

Here we are a year and a half into a Global Pandemic.  How are you holding up?

I know you are weary and often feel frustrated.  It can be very difficult to carry on when you can’t see an end in sight.  Remember in the beginning when healthcare workers received recognition as life savers and heroes who were sacrificing their own safety for the good of others?  Remember the notes, cards, gifts, and meals sent by a grateful community?  These things really helped at the time to boost our spirit and renew us for the fight.  But now we just want it to be done.  We all want to get back to normal; and I don’t mean the “new normal”.

As a part of the HealthCare Supply Chain, we are feeling the stain too, but not to the extent that you on the front line do; and for that I am grateful.  Please know that we are doing our best to take at least one concern off your mind in regards to your uniforms and PPE.

We have been experiencing some pandemic related delays in production and transport.  One of our manufacturers has reported that one of their overseas production facilities is temporarily closed due to a surge in the Delta variant in their workers.  This may cause some extended back order dates for items produced in that region.

In the good old days, pre Covid, most standard orders shipped within 1-2 business days.  (Monday – Friday, not counting Holidays)  I am happy to report that many of the standard orders are still falling in the 1-2 business day range for processing.

From time to time one of the shipping warehouses will need to stretch it out to three days due to an overabundance of volume.  We will make every effort to keep our customer informed of any delay.  Please watch your email after placing an order.  If you use gmail, depending on your security settings, our automated emails may go to your junk folder, so please remember to check there if you haven’t received shipping updates in a timely fashion.

Since March of 2020, UPS, FEDEX, and USPS notified us that they had suspended their transit time guarantees due to pandemic related transportation delays.  For the most part, they carriers are doing a pretty good job, but please understand if you select Next Day Air or one of the other expedited shipping options, the money back guarantee will not apply if they miss the target date for deliver.    See our shipping page for more details.   https://www.uniformsandscrubs.com/shipping

As we come up to the 20th anniversary of 9/11, the Nation will be focusing on the first responders who gave their all that day and the US Military forces who responded to the threat.  Like these selfless people, who our nation has vowed to never to forget; we add you.  The nurse, doctor, support staff and volunteers.   Please know that we still think of you as Super Heroes.  We are grateful for the chance to be your loyal sidekick.
